About This Course
A health and safety officer are responsible for protecting the health, safety and welfare of employees in a particular workplace. This person monitors the conditions at the workplace, ensuring that all employees are following company rules regarding safety. This program is purposely to develop participant to be ready as an Occupational Safety and Health Officer or practicing Safety and Health at their workplace.
Learning Objectives:
- Conduct the hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control.
- Explain the OSH-MS.
- Plan OSH programs.
- Interpret OSH legal requirements.
- Be a competent SHO (upon passing the SHO examination and registration with DOSH).
